We are interested in developing miniaturized engineering tools for fundamental understanding of biological systems such as biomolecules and cells. Using the tools that we created, we aim to answer biophysical questions such as ‘can we differentiate a cancer cell from normal cells by measuring thermal power?’, ‘how and when drugs work on cells’, and ‘can we resolve biochemical reaction at microsecond scale?’. Microfluidics and MEMS techniques are main methods that we use to realize unprecedented high-resolution biosensors, ultra-fast cell manipulations, new materials and devices.

Opening

Positions are available for postdoc and grad students.
